The J. (Jake) Thompson crew of 432 Squadron

This crew was shot down over Chemnitz on February 14/15, 1945 by a JU-88, while on return. W. (Bill) Worthington did not fly this operation as he was in base hospital at East Moor. He was replaced by F/Sgt R. Stringer in the rear turret on that night, and ended the war as a POW.
